Despite interest from several German top tier sides, it appears as if highly touted Greek winger Christos Tzolis will be headed out of the Bundesrepublik.
Not long after Bundesliga promotion-relegation playoff losers Fortuna Düsseldorf activated Greek winger Christopher Tzolis’ purchase clause, it appears as if the 2023/24 2. Bundesliga’s joint-leading goalscorer will be on his way back out of the country. Düsseldorf paid a reported €3 million to acquire Tzolis permanently from Norwich City a few weeks back.
Beligan Flemish newspaper “Het Nieuwsblad” reports that the Flingeraner are preparing to flip Tzolis for approximately twice that amount with a sale to Club Brugge. Belgian footballing journalist Sacha Tavolieri further claims that a scheduled medical tomorrow shall seal the deal. The 22-year-old scored 22 goals and registered nine assists for Düsseldorf last season.
