France Bleu report this evening that two individuals suspected of taking part in the burgling of Presnel Kimpembe’s home in November have been remanded in custody, as indicated by the Versailles public prosecutor to AFP.
The two suspects’ custody began this morning and was still ongoing during the afternoon. The Paris Saint-Germain defender’s home in Noisy-le-Roi, in the western suburbs of Paris, was burgled on November 25, with an estimated €5,000 in damages.
Kimpembe, whose season is now over following yet another injury setback after already missing out on the World Cup, is the latest in a string of figures linked to PSG to be burgled in the last few years. The home of former manager Vahid Halilhodžić, also in the west of the Paris region, was also burgled two days later, with the damages estimated at €80,000 this time. Earlier this year, two individuals were handed prison sentences for burgling club captain Marquinhos’ home back in 2021.
