The squad of players set to be depended upon by Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti for the club’s upcoming showdown with RB Leipzig has this afternoon been confirmed.
Real, of course, will mark their return to action in a little over 24 hours’ time.
Still smarting from a controversial pair of dropped points in La Liga at the weekend, Los Blancos will turn their attentions back towards matters on the continent, in the 2nd leg of the club’s Champions League Last-16 tie with German outfit RB Leipzig.
The Spanish table-toppers currently boast the advantage when it comes to the scoreline, owing to a hard-fought 1-0 victory at the Red Bull Arena three weeks ago.
With a remarkable display on the part of Andriy Lunin having been required to keep a dangerous Leipzig outfit at bay, though, Real will be wary of underestimating their opponents on Wednesday night.
And such efforts will be aided by the return of two high-profile members of the capital giants’ squad, to have missed out in Germany last time out.
The players in question? Antonio Rüdiger, and Jude Bellingham.
Both stopper Rüdiger and midfielder Bellingham were forced to sit out their side’s last European outing, owing to respective injury problems.
This time round, though, the pair are expected to feature from the off.
