Toulouse’s home Ligue 1 game against promoted side Le Havre this Sunday has been temporarily interrupted because a fire alarm began ringing inside the Stadium Municipal. Carlos Martinez Novell’s side had just opened the scoring through in-form centre-forward Thijs Dallinga. Several minutes later, confusion took hold in the stands when a fire alarm blasted through the ground’s speakers. According to Amazon Prime Video Sport, Ligue 1’s main broadcasters, it appears the flares lit up by Toulouse fans were predominantly to blame for the game’s coming to a halt. Toulouse v Le Havre resumed minutes later. Unfortunately, dozens of Toulouse fans have already left their seat to depart the stadium.

Toulouse were 1-0 up against the promoted side. However, Luka Elsner managed to turn things around courtesy of a brace from Mohamed Bayo in the second half. Les Violets will host Premier League side Liverpool FC for their fourth Europa League matchweek of the campaign in group E this Thursday. Jürgen Klopp’s Reds won their home game against the Ligue 1 side over a 5-1 scoreline.
