Tottenham target Christian Eriksen will decide on his future in the “next few days”, according to transfer insider Dean Jones.
Antonio Conte is keen on signing the Denmark international for the second time in his career, but the 30-year-old is yet to reveal where he’ll be playing his football next season.
What’s the latest news involving Eriksen?
Having signed Eriksen in January 2020 when he was Inter Milan manager, Conte is now keen on being the man to bring the midfielder back to north London.
According to the Telegraph, the Spurs boss wants to sign two midfielders this summer, with one of them set to be Brighton & Hove Albion ace Yves Bissouma.
The Mali international has agreed a £25m move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and is expected to undergo a medical at Hotspur Way later this week.
Despite Bissouma being on the verge of becoming Conte’s third summer addition, Spurs remain confident of re-signing Eriksen.
The £13.5m-rated midfielder, described as ‘world-class‘ by Thomas Frank, has recently been away on international duty with Denmark, where he featured in all four of their Nations League matches.
But with Eriksen’s season officially over, Jones is expecting the ex-Tottenham ace to finally decide on his next move in the near-future.
What did Jones say about Eriksen?
He told GIVEMESPORT: “We’re expecting Eriksen to make his mind up in the next few days. I don’t think Spurs fans should start thinking, we’ve missed out on Bastoni, we’ve already missed out on Eriksen, this is a disaster.
“Tottenham will sign four very good players at least in this transfer window, so they’re going to end up with a stronger midfield than they had last season.”

Is anyone else interested in Eriksen?
Not only did Eriksen prove with one goal and four assists during his short spell with Brentford that he remains a classy operator at Premier League level, but clubs also have the added bonus of being able to sign him on a free transfer, once his Bees deal runs out later this month.
Therefore, it’s little surprise Eriksen has offers from Premier League clubs.
Newcastle have been keen on signing the Dane, while Manchester United are the latest club to register their interest in the creator.
According to The Athletic, the Red Devils have made an offer to bring Eriksen to Old Trafford, with United hoping to replace the departing Juan Mata, Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard, who’ll all officially leave once their contracts run out.
