In a recent report, TuttoJuve claimed that Tottenham Hotspur have launched a €47m bid for Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus. It has been stated that Spurs are eager to snap the Brazilian striker up during this summer transfer period.

Jesus’ Rich Vein Of Form At The Etihad Stadium Last Season

Jesus has experienced an impressive season at the blue half of Manchester as he managed to produce plenty of productive performances for Man City in the final third. The 25-year-old has appeared in 41 matches for the Mancunian giants this season, scoring 13 goals and providing 12 assists across multiple competitions.

The Sao Paulo-born sensation has proven himself to be a reliable performer in the attacking end of the field by averaging 2.3 shots, 1.4 key passes and 1.6 dribbles per 90 minutes in Premier League football. He has even been tidy with his ball distribution after making 84.8% of his attempted passes in the English top tier (stats via whoscored).

Is Jesus A Decent Signing For Tottenham Hotspur?

Jesus excels at generating a yard of space for himself to get some strikes in on-target and has transformed himself into a good finisher in front of the opponent’s goal.

The Brazilian striker can use his pace and agility to cause a lot of problems for the opposition centre-backs and can even chip in by picking up a lot of important assists in the final third.

Jesus will inject a lot of goals and creativity into Tottenham boss Antonio Conte‘s attacking department and would no doubt increase competition for places within Spurs‘ squad.

The Sao Paulo-born marksman knows the Premier League well by now and would take no time in settling into life at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium if Conte can find a way to get a deal done for him during the summer transfer period.

Jesus could even help Tottenham challenge for a few major trophies in the coming seasons. Therefore, the North London giants should consider going all out to sign the Brazilian as he will be a decent signing for them this summer.
