Following L’Équipe‘s report earlier this afternoon of an offer from Monaco for Fulham centre-back Tosin Adarabioyo, Foot Mercato have confirmed that the Englishman is keen on a move to the Principality, and is prepared to choose them over Tottenham Hotspur.
The outlet adds that Monaco are yet to make an official bid – contrary to L’Équipe’s indication that a €5m offer had been tabled. However, the Principality side have agreed personal terms with the defender, whose contract with the Cottagers expires at the end of next season.
The former Manchester City man has also caught the eye of both Napoli and Paris Saint-Germain, although it appears that Monaco – who are also looking to bring in Southampton’s Mohammed Salisu – have won the race for his signing. Talks with the Premier League side are set to continue over the next few days. In three years in west London, the defender has madae just over a century of appearances with the club.
