Hugo Ekitiké and Rasmus Nissen Kristensen picked up knocks against Viktoria Plzen, Eintracht Frankfurt coach Dino Toppmöller has revealed.
Eintracht Frankfurt coach Dino Toppmöller has revealed that Hugo Ekitiké and Rasmus Nissen Kristensen were both forced off during Thursday’s 3-3 draw with Holstein Kiel.
That means they’re both doubtful for Frankfurt’s trip to Kiel, as is Robin Koch, who missed the game against Plzen with a back problem.
“Ekitiké and Kristensen had to come off yesterday with minor injuries. We’ll wait for the final training session with both of them, as well as with Robin Koch,” said Toppmöller, who is hopeful that all three players will be able to play.
“The doctors are confident about all of them,” he added.
Toppmöller also said that Mario Götze is expected to be in the squad after recovering from illness.
