La Liga has been the home for some of the best talents of the game, for quite a long time now. Often considered to be the best league in the world, it certainly manifested young players since its inception. A host of young players have left their mark in the league. Ansu Fati and Raul Gonzalez are some of the noteworthy names that come to mind whenever young goalscorers are mentioned. However, they are not the youngest ever to score in the Spanish League. Fabrice Olinga (16 years 03 months):
The Cameroon international, Fabrice Olinga holds the record of the youngest ever goalscorer in La Liga. The youngster came through the Samuel Eto’o Foundation. And after struggling to get a proper club, he finally joined Malaga. Back in the 2012/13 season, he made the record on an opening day. He slotted home against Celta Vigo. And achieved the feat. The record is still intact.
Iker Muniain (16 years 09 months):
Iker not only holds the record of the second youngest goalscorer in La Liga, but he is the youngest Spaniard to score a La Liga goal. His goal came against Real Valladolid when he equalized for Villareal in a 2-2 draw. Although, before his league strike, he had scored in Europe.
Ansu Fati (16 years 10 months):
The electric winger is the third on the list. But he is the youngest ever goalscorer in FC Barcelona league history beating Bojan. Coming through the ranks of La Masia, he was already a fan favourite before his debut. His strike against Osasuna in a 2-2 draw helped him achieve the feat. Injuries have taken a huge toll on him. However, he is recovering fast. And under Xavi, he has a great chance to become the main man again.
