FC Köln and Timo Horn look likely to part ways at the end of the season, when the 29-year-old goalkeeper is out of contract.
According to Kicker, the club want to sit down with Horn’s agent, Volker Struth, “before Christmas” to discuss the future.
An extension is not off the table, but is the “least likely scenario”, per the German football magazine.
Horn was FC Köln’s first-choice goalkeeper for years, but lost his starting place to Marvin Schwäbe last season.
In light of this, he would need to take a significant pay cut to stay beyond the summer.
