Jude Bellingham has excelled at Real Madrid since his €103m move from Borussia Dortmund in the summer. With 21 goals and 10 assists in 36 games across all competitions for Los Blancos, the 20-year-old has taken no time to settle in. And on Tuesday night, the Englishman will find himself playing in a Champions League semi-final.
With eight goal contributions (four goals and four assists) in eight Champions League games this season, Bellingham has played a key role in helping this Real side under Carlo Ancelotti reach this stage of the competitions.
Speaking at a press conference ahead of tomorrow’s clash, Bayern Munich’s Thomas Tuchel praised the development of the former Dortmund player: “Jude is an outstanding player, who’s enjoyed fantastic development. You can only do that with great character. Everyone who plays at Real plays with the pressure of the shirt. He takes it all on as if he knows nothing else. He’s a key player. We’ll try to find solutions.”
During his time at Borussia Dortmund, Bellingham never won against Bayern Munich.
