Thomas Frank has recently joined Tottenham Hotspur to replace Ange Postecoglou as their new manager.
Frank has already started planning to rebuild the squad and is targeting two players from his former club.
According to the Guardian, the 51-year-old is seeking a reunion with Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa.
Mbeumo enjoyed a stellar 2024-25 Premier League campaign, registering 20 goals and seven assists in 38 matches.
Brentford are reportedly open to selling Mbeumo for £60 million, but Tottenham face huge competition from Manchester United for the 25-year-old.
United appear to have an advantage in terms of wages, as they are willing to offer a salary package worth around £200,000 per week.
Spurs are unlikely to match that figure, but they will hope Frank’s relationship with the Cameroon international will persuade him to join.
Tottenham are also considering a move for Wissa, who has been with Brentford since 2021.
The Bees are expected to demand a fee of around £40m for the 28-year-old, who has a year left on his current contract with an option for another 12 months.
Wissa was a key player for Brentford last season, scoring 19 goals in 35 league appearances.
Nottingham Forest tried to sign the forward in January and are keen to secure his services this summer.
