Thiago Motta confirms Randal Kolo Muani’s pending Juventus move

In a recent press conference, Juventus head coach Thiago Motta has confirmed that Randal Kolo Muani (25) is set to complete a move to join the Serie A outfit from Paris Saint-Germain. The France international was declared surplus to requirements at the Parc des Princes and told to find a new club in the January window.

Kolo Muani attracted a healthy list of interested clubs including Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United. However, it was the allure of playing for the Bianconeri that seduced the Frenchman to opt for a move to Italy. The Frenchman has agreed personal terms with Juventus and a move is now considered a formality. He will arrive on an initial loan move.

Motta confirmed this status in the move when asked about a move for the former Eintracht Frankfurt attacker. The former PSG midfielder said, “Kolo Muani will be a new Juventus player, it is all good. We are waiting for the formal documents and then he will be ready to play. I am so happy.”

Despite the striker securing a move away from the Parc des Princes for now, the problem of his future in the French capital will rumble on into the future when he returns to the club in the summer. There has been no purchase clause inserted into the deal agreed with the Serie A club.
