Théo Hernandez: “I want to stay at AC Milan for as long as possible.”

AC Milan’s French defender, Theo Hernandez, has expressed his desire to stay at the club for as long as possible. In a recent statement, he said, “I hope to stay here at AC Milan as long as possible. Future? I’m only focused on the present, we never know the future.” The Frenchman was quoted by Fabrizio Romano.

Hernandez joined AC Milan in 2019 from Spanish side Real Madrid and has since become a key player in the team. He has been a standout performer for the Rossoneri, scoring 18 goals and providing 17 assists in 125 Serie A appearances.

The 23-year-old has also taken on the responsibility of being the captain of AC Milan, a role that he says makes him proud. “I’m happy here since day one. I’m proud to be AC Milan captain,” he said.

Hernandez’s commitment to the club will be a boost for AC Milan, who are currently fighting for a place in the top four of the Serie A table. The Rossoneri have had a solid season so far, but they will need to continue their good form to secure a Champions League spot for next season. Meanwhile, they play tomorrow against Napoli in an all-Italian UEFA Champions League quarter final first leg at the San Siro.
