The Final Boss is coming. The Rock is set to appear on the February 21st episode of WWE SmackDown in New Orleans. The Attitude Era legend himself made the announcement on his social media account.
The Rock has been away from WWE television since appearing on NXT on January 7th and offered words of encouragement for the superstars of tomorrow. The Great One also appeared during the historic RAW on Netflix premiere on January 6th. However, WWE fans were confused about his friendly treatment to Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, who was his fierce rival during last year’s WrestleMania season.
Due to his absence, plenty of fans have speculated that the Hollywood star would not be performing at this year’s WrestleMania. While his appearance does not indicate otherwise, his presence certainly stirs the pot on what has been an intriguing road to the Grandest Stage of Them All so far.
