The Miz Names Current Superstar Who Will Overtake John Cena as WWE’s GOAT

The Miz has heaped praise on a certain WWE Superstar and came out with some pretty hot takes about just how influential they are, and it has left fans shocked and surprised.

The American wrestler went on GMFB to discuss all things going on right now in WWE, and he spent a lot of his time talking about a certain star of the sport. The Miz wasn’t scared to make big statements, either, naming him the greatest in-ring technician he’s ever worked with, even labelling it “not even close.”

The Miz has worked with all kinds of stars during his tenure with WWE, seeing legends come and go since his time on the full-time roster started in 2006. His illustrious career includes many highs, like the WWE Championship, the Intercontinental Championship, and many Tag Team Championships, making him one of the stalwarts of WWE during the 21st Century. Therefore, to label a fellow wrestler as far and away the best technician he’s seen in the ring is a really special compliment.

The Miz didn’t stop there, though, ready to state his piece further. He even went on to say that this current Superstar could be seen as the greatest ever by the time their whole career is said and done, and even stated that while someone like John Cena is probably most people’s first choice for that sort of title.

So who is this mysterious legend that The Miz and many other professionals rate at the very top of the game? The one and only, Seth Rollins. The star from Iowa has been in everyone’s good books lately, and The Miz felt he deserved the kind of recognition that puts him up there with the very best.

Speaking live with Seth Rollins in the studio, smiling at the unexpected praise, The Miz declared that once all has been said and done in his wrestling career, people will attach his name to the very, very top of the sport.

“Mentally, physically, he has all of the gifts to become that person. People call Shawn Michaels Mr WrestleMania. If you watched the main event on Saturday this year in Vegas, you would’ve seen Mr main event in that ring in Seth Rollins.”

It wasn’t just praise for his in-ring abilities and wrestling career that The Miz was focusing on, however, he also touched on the Seth Rollins we might not see as much outside of the ring. Of course, he started by saying what a great husband and father he is, but he also drew attention to how “The Architect” will use his platform for good, and discussed how he uses his platform to help give young Superstars the exposure that many don’t have early on in their careers.
