On-loan Manchester United star Antony has late this week moved to reiterate his happiness on the books of Real Betis.
Attacker Antony is for his part of course in the midst of an altogether productive stint in Spain.
After linking up with La Liga outfit Real Betis on loan during the January transfer window, the Brazilian has since gone on to establish himself as one of the first names on the team sheet of boss Manuel Pellegrini.
Looking a player reborn, Antony has racked up 14 direct goal contributions across 25 appearances in all competitions to date.
Such fine form has given rise to mounting calls for Betis to go all out in an effort to make the former Ajax man’s signing a permanent one this summer.
And if the latest comments on the part of the player himself are anything to go by, then this is an outcome which would make Antony nothing short of delighted.
Speaking to the media after finding the net once more in a 1-1 draw with Valencia on Friday night, the winger explained:
“Here at Betis I’m happy when I go to sleep and when I wake up… all day happy. I don’t know what’s gonna happen with my future but I’m so happy here. These fans are incredible.”
