Florian Grillitsch continues to make headlines in his summer tour of turning down clubs at the last minute due to salary demands. Premier League side Brighton are the latest team to join this circus, as they are now in talks to sign the free-agent. Grillitsch was previously set to sign with Serie A side Fiorentina and Galatasaray in Turkey before talks broke down due to the 26-year-old’s demands for more money.
Brighton are pushing to sign Florian Grillitsch on a free transfer. Negotiations ongoing to get the deal done, as Galatasaray approached the player but there’s still no agreement on personal terms. 🇦🇹 #BHAFC

Grillitsch played for several years at Werder Bremen and 5 years at Hoffenheim to total 178 games in the Bundesliga. If a move to Brighton becomes official this time around, the Austrian will become the replacement for Yves Bissouma in defensive midfield.
