Teun Koopmeiners awaits Juventus move as Federico Chiesa nears exit

Serie A giants Juventus seem destined to land Atalanta’s Teun Koopmeiners as the Dutchman awaits a move to the Bianconeri, with Federico Chiesa nearing the exit door at the club.

Fabiana della Valle has reported that Juve see Koopmeiners as a key target and their goal is to have Douglas Luiz, Khephren Thuram and the Dutchman in midfield. Cristiano Guintoli is desperate to land the player, who also attracted attention from the Premier League but La Dea found no offers that were worth accepting.

Koopmeiners has already said ‘yes’ to Juve and sees the Old Lady as his next destination to a point where he is waiting for the move to be unlocked. La Dea would ideally sell him abroad but they do not want to go against Koopmeiners’ will, but the Bergamo club’s valuation is currently at €60 million, which Juve consider too high.

As a result, Juve want to sell players and generate cash, with Chiesa nearing the exit from the club. Matias Soule could also be a player that leaves but that would require offers of move €35 million. As things stand, Chiesa seems likely to leave.
