According to Fabrizio Romano, talks are progressing well between AS Monaco and Real Madrid for Aurélien Tchouaméni.
Madrid are getting closer to signing the highly-rated midfielder after a verbal agreement on personal terms was reached.
Talks are set to continue, with the Champions League winners increasingly confident of landing the France international.
Signing Tchouaméni (22) would be a major boost to Madrid’s midfield options alongside Fede Valverde (23) and Eduardo Camavinga (19), who look set be the club’s future midfield three when Casemiro, Toni Kroos and Luka Modric step aside.
