Deniz Undav is a big doubt for Stuttgart’s Bundesliga clash with Eintracht Frankfurt after picking up a knock against Atalanta.

VfB Stuttgart could be without Deniz Undav when they face Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga on Sunday.
Stuttgart coach Sebastian Hoeness confirmed at a press conference on Friday that the striker is a big doubt after pulling his left hamstring against Atalanta in the Champions League on Wednesday.
“We’ll have to wait and see, we can’t say anything at the moment. He ran lightly today. It will be tight.”
Jeff Chabot, meanwhile, is in contention to start after returning from a muscle injury to come off the bench against Atalanta.
“After a few days with a little less strain, the likelihood of him playing is higher. Jeff coped well with his substitute appearance against Atalanta. We’ll have to see if he can play 30, 60 or 90 minutes. Muscularly, nothing speaks against it.”
Hoeness also commented on the battle to start up front between Ermedin Demirovic and El Bilal Touré.
Demirovic started the season as Stuttgart’s first choice striker, but Touré has moved ahead of him in the pecking order.
“We had a lot of games, and as far as El Bilal is concerned, he had a good week and deserved to play more games. Ermedin Demirovic did well at the beginning of the season. El Bilal had to be patient at the time, and now it’s sort of the other way around.”
