André Silva is being touted as a possible replacement for Serhou Guirassy at VfB Stuttgart.
With Serhou Guirassy set to complete his move to Borussia Dortmund, VfB Stuttgart are looking for a replacement for the Guinea international.
The latest name to be linked with the Swabians is André Silva, who spent last season on loan at Real Sociedad from RB Leipzig.
In terms of transfer fees, Silva would be cheaper than Ermedin Demirovic, who is also a target for Stuttgart.
The Portuguese striker would cost €12 million, while Augsburg have put a €25 million price tag on Demirovic.
However, there’s still a financial hurdle to overcome, with Silva’s current salary of around €7 million a year thought to be far too much for Stuttgart.
Silva, 28, found the net just four times for Sociedad last season, but has proven in the past that he can score goals on a regular basis in the Bundesliga.
His best season was with Eintracht Frankfurt in 2020/21, when he found the net 28 times in 32 Bundesliga appearances.
