St. Pauli forward Daniel-Kofi Kyereh is expected to make a decision on his future by the end of the week, according to Kicker.
Bundesliga quartet Freiburg, Mainz, Stuttgart and Werder Bremen are interested in signing the 26-year-old, who scored 12 and created 10 in 29 2. Bundesliga games for St. Pauli last season.
Entering the final year of his contract, St. Pauli have set an asking price of a reported €4.5m but per the report, Kyereh could leave for less than his valuation so that the Hamburg side don’t risk missing out on a transfer fee next summer, if the Ghanaian was to stay.
Stuttgart seem to be leading the way for Kyereh with talks having already taken place. It’s unlikely that the St. Pauli forward would be a replacement for Saša Kalajdžić, who has been linked with Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich as he enters the final year of his contract. Kyereh and Kalajdžić have different profiles and after securing their Bundesliga status, VfB will be looking to strengthen their squad. As will Freiburg as they compete in Europe next season.
Talks between Stuttgart and St. Pauli for the transfer of Kyereh have already started.
