Freiburg coach Christian Streich was full of praise for Kolo Muani after his side’s 2-1 defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt.

Speaking after the win, in which Muani scored the equalizer in Frankfurt’s comeback win, Streich said:

“There was one difference on the pitch: Kolo Muani. You can hardly defend against him, he has extraordinary quality.

“We took the lead, everything was fine until the 70th minute. The last 20 minutes were an open exchange of blows. But we lacked a bit of strength, so in the end the result is deserved,” Streich was quoted as saying by Kicker.

Muani, 24, had an impressive debut season in the Bundesliga, scoring 15 goals and providing 14 assists in 32 league appearances.
