RC Strasbourg Alsace are coming off the back of an emphatic 3-1 win over Olympique Lyonnais. Going into that game, Lyon were on a 13-game winning run in all competitions.
It is perhaps no surprise, therefore, that Gary O’Neil is not expected to make any changes to his side, as they prepare to welcome second-placed side RC Lens. There are no returnees for Strasbourg. Club captain Emanuel Emegha remains sidelined, and so Joaquín Panichelli will continue to lead the line for Le Racing.
Behind him will be the in-form Julio Enciso, with Martial Godo on the left wing and Diego Moreira on the right. In the absence of Emegha, it will be defender Ismael Doukouré who will captain RCSA against Les Sang et Or.
Strasbourg likely line-up v Lens
Mike Penders; Ben Chilwell, Ismael Doukouré, Andrew Omobamidele, Guéla Doué; Valentín Barco, Samir El-Mourabet; Martial Godo, Julio Enciso, Diego Moreira; Joaquín Panichelli. (L’Éq)
