Earlier this week, Hoffenheim confirmed the signing of Angelino on a season-long loan deal from RB Leipzig.
According to Kicker, Hoffenheim have an option to tie the left-back down to a permanent deal for €20 million at the end of the season.
The curious thing is that the clause is non-exclusive, meaning that it’s possible for “any interested party” to sign Angelino for this fee in the summer of 2023, per the German football publication.
Angelino could make his debut for Hoffenheim against Bochum this Saturday.
