Bild reports that VfL Bochum are set to sign Kevin Stöger on a free transfer, pending a medical.
If everything goes according to plan, Stöger will sign a contract for multiple years with the Bundesliga side.
The 28-year-old midfielder is available free of charge, as his contract with Mainz expires at the end of the month.
Stöger played for Bochum in the past, making 40 appearances with seven goals and 10 assists to his name between 2016 and 2018.
In addition to Stöger, Bochum are said to be on the verge of signing 29-year-old defensive midfielder Jacek Góralski from FC Kairat Almaty.
