Gladbach captain Lars Stindl has revealed that he and Gladbach are planning to “intensify” their talks over a potential extension of his contract beyond the summer.
“We are really still in the consideration phase. Both sides have said how they see the situation,” the Gladbach captain told Rheinische Post.
“Of course we will intensify the talks in the next few weeks.
“I have to think about my family, my career, my plans afterwards. And besides, it’s about what value I still have for the club,” added the 34-year-old, who noted that he has “a really good feeling” in his current sporting situation.
Stindl joined Gladbach from Hannover 96 in 2015.
