Kicker is reporting that departing Arminia Bielefeld goalkeeper Stefan Ortega is set to sign for Manchester City.
After leaving Arminia Bielefeld on a free transfer, Stefan Ortega is apparently heading to Manchester City.
According to German football magazine Kicker, the 29-year-old goalkeeper is set to join the English champions, who will make him their new number two goalkeeper behind Ederson.
Ortega has been linked with a number of different clubs after an impressive 2021/22 campaign, which saw him keep six clean sheets for relegated Arminia Bielefeld.
The 29-year-old came through the youth ranks at Bielefeld and broke into the first team before joining 1860 München in 2014.
He then returned to Bielefeld in 2017 and has spent the last five seasons there.
