Sofyan Amrabat likely to be excluded from Fiorentina’s project

Serie A side Fiorentina are likely to exclude midfielder Sofyan Amrabat from their project under new manager Raffaele Palladino.

Amrabat returned to training yesterday and he trained with the club’s squad and also had a training session alone, but there have been suggestions that he is waiting for a move to Manchester United.

La Nazione today have reported that he is now at risk of being excluded from Fiorentina’s project. Palladino has welcomed Amrabat back but he has never spoken about his future at the club.

The likelihood is that Amrabat will be excluded from Fiorentina’s next three friendlies and La Viola hope to earn €20 million from his sale, with the player still keen on a return to Manchester United and hoping for a Premier League move.

Amrabat did receive an offer from Fenerbahce, who put forward a fee of €10 million. But that fee wasn’t enough for Fiorentina, who rejected the approach. When Amrabat trains fully with the Fiorentina first-team is uncertain.
