As reported by Philipp Kessler, Sheffield United join Wolfsburg and PSV as the clubs interested in signing Bayern Munich’s Malik Tillman.
Tillman (21) spent last season on loan at Rangers where he played 46 games across all competitions, scoring 12 and creating five. The Scottish side wanted to sign Tillman on a permanent basis after impressing but after Bayern Munich cancelled the previously agreed purchase option, Rangers would have had to pay in excess of €6m to sign the American.
Bayern Munich would be open to allowing Tillman – who has entered the final year of his current deal – to leave the club, with a loan move a possibility this summer.
As well as the aforementioned trio, Stuttgart are another club that has shown an interest in signing Tillman. And unlikely to earn playing time in the Bundesliga with Bayern Munich this season, a departure from the Allianz Arena is highly conceivable.
