German journalist Christopher Michel reports that Danish attacker Jesper Lindstrøm will remain out for Eintracht Frankfurt even after the international break.

News on the expected downtime of SGE attacking cog Jesper Lindstrøm has been scarce since the club announced that an ankle injury would sideline the 23-year-old for “several weeks” nine days ago. Respected German journalist Christopher Michel of German broadcaster “Sport1” now reports that surgery for the Danish international’s ankle problems was considered, but ultimately declined for the time being.
Lindstrøm will nevertheless remain out for Eintracht even after league play resumes following the coming international break. Oliver Glasner’s team – currently winless in five games on-the-trot – will face VfL Bochum on March 31st when the Bundesliga returns for the 26th matchday of the 2022/23 campaign.
The SGE face Union Berlin this weekend.
Bitter: @jobbe2902 spielt auch direkt nach der Länderspielpause noch keine Rolle. Eine Knöcheloperation ist – Stand heute – aber nicht geplant. #SGE #FCUSGE
