Diego Carlos’ move to Aston Villa could be followed in the coming days by the departure of Jules Koundé to Chelsea for a fee expected to be in the region of €60 million plus add-ons, according to AS.
Koundé has received other offers but had already agreed the terms of his contract with the London club. Sevilla will have around €100 million to sign at least two new centre-backs with the sale of Diego Carlos and Koundé.
Feyenoord’s Marcos Senesi and Alexander Djiku of Strasbourg have been two of the players most closely watched by Sevilla in recent months.
