La Liga outfit Sevilla have on Saturday provided an insight into the wellbeing of star defender Loïc Badé.
This comes, for those who may have missed it, with the stopper having been forced into a premature departure from the France national team camp.
Owing to what was described as a muscular problem, Badé was informed that he would be making his way back to base in Andalusia, a heavy personal blow amid his pursuit of a senior Les Bleus bow.
And, now, 24 hours on, Sevilla have provided a further update on the situation.
As per a statement across the website and social media platforms of the Nervionenses, Badé will indeed touch back down in Spain on Sunday.
From here, the former Rennes talent will be subjected to a round of medical scans, to ascertain the extent of his hamstring injury:
‘Loïc Badé, who was selected by the French national team for the first rounds of the UEFA Nations League group stage, will return from the senior squad this Sunday after suffering a hamstring injury in his right thigh.
‘The Sevilla defender will undergo an MRI next Monday to determine the extent of his injury.’
