Borussia Mönchengladbach are sweating over the fitness of a number of players ahead of Saturday’s Bundesliga clash with Union Berlin.
“We will train after this and then we will see which players are available. Elvedi, Čvančara, Koné, Hack and Wöber are all doubts,” Seoane said at his pre-match press conference, admitting that Tuesday’s extra-time DFB-Pokal win over Wolfsburg took its toll on his squad.
“The players were exhausted after the Pokal game. Physically, three days is enough time to prepare, but it’s also about the mentality after such a game. That’s what we’ve been working on,” added Seoane.
Gladbach go into Saturday’s game against last-placed Union Berlin in 10th place.
