kicker reports that several Bundesliga clubs are interested in Werder Bremen striker Nick Woltemade, whose contract expires at the end of the season.
Borussia Mönchengladbach, VfB Stuttgart and Hoffenheim have all shown an interest in the striker. Sky Germany reported that Stuttgart have already held talks with Woltemade over a move, it is possible that the Germany under-21 striker could be a potential replacement for Sehrou Guirassy if he were to leave at the end of the season.
Whilst Bremen also wants to extend the 22-year-old’s contract at the club. However, Woltemade has made it clear that he wants to be playing. In his first season in the Bundesliga, the striker has started six times whilst making 23 appearances for the club. The issue is that Woltemade has yet to score a goal for Bremen this season.
Last season, Woltemade spent the season on loan at then 3.Liga side Elversberg and helped them earn promotion to the 2.Bundesliga with 10 goals and nine assists in 31 games.
