Bayern Munich goalkeeping legend Sepp Maier has heaped praise on Harry Kane, saying he’s “more valuable” to the Bavarians and the Bundesliga than Robert Lewandowski.

Robert Lewandowski made an unforgettable impact at Bayern Munich during his seven years at the club, scoring 344 goals in 375 appearances.
But goalkeeping legend Sepp Maier believes Harry Kane has already proved to be “more valuable” to Bayern and the Bundesliga than his Polish predecessor since his summer move from Tottenham.
“He is good for the Bundesliga. Kane is clearly more valuable than Robert Lewandowski was,” Maier told Sport1.
“In the summer, it was to be assumed that it would work out with him and Bayern, but his performances have been extraordinarily good.”
With 21 goals in his first 15 Bundesliga games, Kane is on course to break Robert Lewandowski’s Bundesliga record of 41 goals in the 2020/21 season.
“There are almost no words to describe him,” said Maier.
“The special thing about Kane is that he also works for others and shows how much he has already internalized FC Bayern.”
