With Franck Honorat, Nathan Ngoumou and Robin Hack vying for two starting spots, Borussia Mönchengladbach coach Geardo Seoane is currently spoilt for choice when it comes to the wing positions.
For the second game in a row, he opted to hand starts to Honorat and Ngoumou when Gladbach faced FC Köln last weekend, but it was Hack who stole the show in the 3-3 draw, scoring a brace shortly after coming on in the second half.
Ahead of Gladbach’s DFB-Pokal semi-final against Saarbrücken on Tuesday, Seoane spoke about the competition between the three.
“Robin Hack, Franck Honorat and Nathan Ngoumou are all different types of player who bring different strengths. They’ve all scored good goals recently. We can be pleased that we’ve got so much depth in these positions,” said Seoane.
Hack, Ngoumou and Honorat have all scored twice in their last three games.
