Romano Schmid will be out for several weeks due to a knee injury.

Werder Bremen midfielder Romano Schmid has been ruled out for the foreseeable future after suffering a partial MCL tear in his left knee.
‘The Green-Whites’ confirmed the diagnosis on Tuesday, stating that Schmid is expected to be out for several weeks.
“It’s really a shame for Romano that he suffered this injury at this stage of the season,” commented Clemens Fritz, head of professional football and scouting.
“He will be given all the time he needs in order to recover and return to us stronger than before,” he added.
