Over the years, many players have made the switch from the Bundesliga to the English Premier League.
In an interview with Sky Germany, RB Leipzig midfielder Xaver Schlager admits he’s open to taking that route too in the future.
“Of course, the idea of playing in the Premier League at some point is appealing to me. It’s the best league in the world. But at the moment I feel very comfortable in Leipzig. I am happy here,” Schlager said.
“My career plan is to become the best possible version of myself. We’ll see what that’s enough for.”
Schlager joined Leipzig from Wolfsburg for €12 million last summer.
