André Hechelmann will be Schalke 04’s new sporting director, Die Welt reports.
Recently relegated Bundesliga side FC Schalke 04 are reportedly set to appoint their new sporting director.
According to Die Welt, André Hechelmann will fill the gap left by Rouven Schröder, who left the club in October.
Hechelmann, 38, has been the club’s chief scout since 2021 and is said to be well-connected internationally.
An official announcement has not yet been made.
