Freiburg will continue their European campaign at home against Austria’s Bundesliga leaders, RB Salzburg. Julian Schuster’s side are in pole position for a direct qualification to the Round of 16 thanks to their unbeaten start.
Philipp Lienhart passed a late fitness test to start alongside Matthias Ginter in Freiburg’s defense. Yuito Suzuki and Junior Adamu are also in the starting lineup for the continental clash.
