As first reported by BILD, there was a bust-up between Sadio Mané and Leroy Sané in the dressing room last night following Bayern Munich’s 3-0 defeat against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.
After the final whistle, there was a short, loud discussion in the dressing room. Per the report, Mané was unhappy with the way Sané spoke to him, before allegedly hitting him in the face. The two had to be separated in order to calm the mood and per Bild, eyewitnesses report that the blow left a mark of Sané’s face.
In addition to this, Sky Germany further report that Mané gave Sané a bloody lip. After landing in Munich on Wednesday, Sané was picked up privately whilst Mané took the team bus. As of now, Bayern Munich are yet to comment on the situation.
The trigger for this was in the 83rd minute when Mané ran into space for a through ball rather than coming short and Sané, who was motivated against his former club, quarreled with Mané on the pitch.
