Julian Ryerson has been ruled out of Borussia Dortmud’s away game against St. Pauli on Saturday.
As BVB head coach Niko Kovac announced at his pre-match press conference, the Norwegian international is struggling with illness.
“Julian Ryerson has a slight flu-like infection,” said Kovac.
“We had him in training, but he didn’t feel well enough to be involved. He won’t be in the squad tomorrow.”
Niklas Süle could start at right-back in Ryerson’s absence, with Yan Couto and Waldemar Anton offering alternatives.
Felix Nmecha is also out for the Black and Yellows.
