Bild journalist Christian Falk today reports that Ajax midfielder Ryan Gravenberch signed a five-year contract with Bayern Munich.
Gravenberch landed in Munich at 10:50am today before heading straight to Bayern’s Säbener Straße HQ to sign the contract until 2027 after passing his medical last week. Ajax will receive a reported €18m plus €5.5m in bonuses for the Dutchman, who was entering the final year of his contract at the Eredivisie side.
In Munich, the 20-year-old spoke of his ambitions with the Bundesliga champions to Falk: “Bayern is a big club. I think you have to win big titles here and that’s also what I expect. I’m happy to be here in Munich now.”
The Netherlands international scored three and created six in 42 games in all competitions for Ajax last season and will become Bayern Munich’s second signing of the summer after confirming the signing of Noussair Mazraoui on a free transfer.
