Cristiano Ronaldo’s arrival in Saudi football has put his new club, Al Nassr, on the footballing map.
Al Nassr convinced the former Real Madrid forward to sign a two-and-a-half deal after terminating his contract with Manchester United.
Ronaldo’s new coach, Rudi Garcia, has also revealed himself to be a fan of Lionel Messi to the point of stating in a recent press conference that he would have gone to Qatar himself to sign the Argentina World Cup winner.
“First I wanted to bring here Messi from Doha,” joked García in a media appearance in quotes reported by Mundo Deportivo.
In recent days, following the signing of Ronaldo, it has emerged that the Saudi club have ambitions to bring in some of the world’s biggest names, and the latest name to be linked with a move is PSG defender Sergio Ramos.
