RB Leipzig coach Marco Rose has confirmed that Dani Olmo is ready to return from a shoulder injury.
The Spaniard, who underwent shoulder surgery in November, is no longer affected by the injury.
“He’s basically ready. He’s recovered, he’s had tests and he’s been cleared,” Rose said, according to DPA.
“Now it’s a matter of carrying that over into the game when uncontrolled movements are added.”
Olmo is expected to be gradually eased back into action, and will most likely start off the bench when Leipzig play their first game of the 2023 season against Eintracht Frankfurt on January 13.
