Inter striker Romelu Lukaku was racially abused by certain Juventus fans during and after the Nerazzurri’s 1-1 draw against the Bianconeri in the first leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final.
Lukaku has equalised for the Nerazzurri late in the game and he had shushed some Juve fans, who were said to be racially abusing him during the game. For the celebration, the Belgian was shown the second yellow card and after the game, tempers flared as three other players were sent off.
The striker seemed to be fuming when he was sent off, leaving many to wonder what had happened. But Simone Togna has confirmed that racial chants were made against him and his celebration was a response to those chants.
Romelu Lukaku was racially abused and that is why he chose to do the shush celebration and he was sent off for that, reports @SimoneTogna.

Lukaku’s sending off means that he will not be available for the upcoming second leg but Simone Inzaghi has stated that he hopes the sending off will be overturned.
