Serie A side Roma are still far away from reaching an agreement with Las Palmas for the transfer of Mika Marmol but they will continue the chase.
According to a report by Gianluca Di Marzio, Roma are in contact with LaLiga side Las Palmas to seal the signing of Mika Marmol. The Giallorossi have contacted the player too but a lack of an agreement between the two clubs is not helping with the 23-year-old’s green light for a possible transfer.
Las Palmas have indicated that they want Roma to activate Marmol’s release clause which is set at €10 million and the Canary Islands-based side are unlikely to reduce their ask. The Italian capital side are hoping to settle on a lower transfer fee as that would help them balance their finances while adding a talented defender.
Como approached the Spanish side before Roma and they too were turned down due to the financial costs associated with the deal.
