According to Fabrizio Romano, Roma are still awaiting a response from PSG regarding their loan bid for Renato Sanches. José Mourinho wants to bring his compatriot to the Stadio Olimpico on a season-long loan.
The Giallorossi and Les Parisiens still disagree on the conditions for a permanent transfer at the end of the loan. Both parties want to include a purchase option in the deal, with PSG wanting the clause to be obligatory. However, Roma wants the purchase option to be optional. The final decision currently sits with the Ligue 1 champions, as Roma continue to wait.
The Portuguese midfielder signed for PSG from Lille in 2022 for a fee of €15m. The former Bayern Munich and Swansea player featured 27 times for Les Parisiens in all competitions last season. However, following the arrivals of Manuel Ugarté and Kang-in Lee in midfield, Sanches may find minutes limited at the Parc des Princes next season.
